Three people, two men in suits and hats and a woman in a dark dress, stand on a lawn in front of a house with a porch and climbing vines. A potted plant sits on a window ledge. The note places the group in California and names a spot that reads as "Bumgarden," likely a garbled local place name, and mentions friends. The scene has the feel of an informal visit or family gathering, with the house and lawn as a plain domestic backdrop.
