About this postcard

Colorized view of Tilghman High School, a large red-brick building with white trim set behind a lawn and trees. An American flag flies from a tall flagpole in front. The school was described as Western Kentucky's largest high school and one of the most modern in the state; a $200,000 addition brought a gymnasium, auditorium, home economics unit, library, and separate trades building. The stadium and field house supported football and also gave the band and drum and bugle corps a parade ground.
