A paved country road curves through dense, leafy trees toward a small white railing or bridge in the distance, with foliage showing touches of autumn color. The card's own caption names the scene simply as a greeting from Columbiaville, a small village in Lapeer County in southeastern Michigan, an area of farmland and woods along the Flint River. Generic 'Greetings from' views like this were typical of mid-century linen-texture cards sold as local souvenirs.
Linen-texture stock with a white border; printed card number 12769 at lower right.
No postmark. Unused divided-back linen card with white border; vertical imprint "'NYCE' Quality Colored Landscape Locals" along left edge. Clean, light toning only.
