A tinted view looking along Twenty-Fifth Street in Ogden, Utah, with a yellow trolley car at the left, tall multi-arm telegraph and trolley poles lining the unpaved roadway, horse-drawn rigs in the middle distance, and brick commercial blocks on the right beyond a grassy strip. Snow-streaked mountains of the Wasatch Range fill the background. Ogden grew as a major Union Pacific railroad division point and junction city in northern Utah, and its early twentieth-century streetcar lines served the downtown grid shown here.
No white border; faint circular dated postmark with flag killer impression in the sky area; light edge and corner wear with minor soiling.
Postmark: OGDEN UTAH DEC 1 4-30P (year incompletely struck, appears 19__, with stray 8 near year). Divided-back "Post Card" with "This Space for Address only"; 1¢ green Franklin stamp; vertical "FOR GRAY NEWS CO. SALT LAKE, NO. 1010" imprint along the divider, beginning hidden under postmark; faint green pencil dealer notation along top edge; light toning and corner wear.
