A printed view titled "Typical Arizona Ranch Scene" looks across rolling desert grassland dotted with yellow wildflowers and scrub toward a cluster of low ranch buildings with red roofs, backed by arid mountains. A herd of red-and-white cattle grazes in the middle ground while a mounted cowboy at the left works the bunch. The card was issued "Courtesy Linda Vista Ranch," one of the guest ranches that promoted Arizona's dude-ranch tourism in the mid-twentieth century.
Linen-textured stock with a cream border; Curt Teich production code 2B-H1516 at lower right and R-1 at upper left.
No postmark; card is unused. Divided-back linen "C.T. Art-Colortone" postcard with Curteich (Chicago) imprint, distributed by Lollesgard Specialty Co., Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. Scattered foxing/stain spots on the right half; corners clean.
