About this postcard

A moonlit panoramic view of the U.S. Veterans' Administration Facility in Columbia, South Carolina, with its long red-brick Georgian Revival wards and administration buildings, lit windows, and a white cupola against a cloudy night sky. A curving drive sweeps across the lawn in the foreground. The campus opened in the early 1930s as part of the federal veterans' hospital system and later became the Wm.
