About this postcard

An elevated view of the Université de Montréal's main building complex on Mount Royal, its tall central tower and red dome rising above wooded slopes and an open lawn. The main pavilion, designed by Ernest Cormier, was completed in the early 1940s and gave the francophone university a monumental campus overlooking Montreal. The tower became a recognizable symbol of the institution.
