highest battle monument
in the world. The battle-
field is five or six miles
distant in the town of Hoosick
N.Y. But the store house
which was the objective point
of Burgoyne's expedition
was located on the hill on
which the monument now stands.

Vermont is obtained from
here. Hills on all sides.
