The Washington Profile, a weathered rock outcrop in Sayre Park at Lehigh University, rises from a wooded hillside in South Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The stone is read as a human profile, with a slender tree at left and a small figure in white standing among the boulders below. The view treats the formation as a local natural curiosity near the university. In the early 20th century South Bethlehem was a separate industrial borough, and Lehigh University sat on the hillside above the borough.
