About this postcard
Three water skiers in matching yellow-and-red costumes form a pyramid on yellow skis: a woman in a white, rhinestone-trimmed costume and long white gloves is held horizontally aloft by two men as they skim across churning blue water. The photograph captures a classic mid-century aqua-show stunt of the kind staged at Florida tourist attractions, where troupes of performers built human pyramids, pyramids on skis and barefoot acts for lakeside audiences. No caption or imprint is printed on the picture side, so the location and troupe are not identified on the card itself.
