About this postcard

A bride in a long white veil and gown stands embraced by a groom in a dark suit, framed in an ornate gold cartouche on a bright red ground. A blue medallion above holds a pair of billing doves and one below holds a winged cupid, with daisies and ribbon bows at the corners. The greeting 'Many Blissful Days' is lettered in gold at the right. Doves and Cupid were standard symbols of love and fidelity on wedding and engagement greetings of the early twentieth century.
