About this postcard

A view across the flower beds and lawns of West Side Park in Jersey City, with red and yellow cannas blooming in the foreground along a curving walk. Beyond the green, a clock tower and church-like building stand at left, while large frame and brick residences line the far side of the park under a blue sky with scattered clouds. The landscaped beds and walks mark it as a neighborhood public park of the early twentieth century, a green space among the city's West Side streets.
