About this postcard

A swimming pool with a curved reddish rim sits on the terrace of the White House Hotel in Biloxi, ringed by lounge chairs and tropical plantings under magnolia trees. The Gulf of Mexico lies beyond the terrace. The hotel advertised it as "The only completely radiantly heated pool on the Mississippi Coast," ideal for winter or summer swimming, with a wading pool for children. Biloxi was a Gulf Coast resort destination, and the White House Hotel stood on the waterfront.
