Winding road through the trees toward the river, Little Falls, Minnesota, circa 1930s

Card type
Lithograph

About this postcard

A paved road curves through a wooded hillside, bordered by a low white guard rail, with a broad river and distant tree-lined bluffs visible beyond the trees under a pale sunset sky. The card's own caption names the town as Little Falls, Minnesota, a central Minnesota community on the Mississippi River known for its falls and for the boyhood home of aviator Charles Lindbergh. The scene is a typical white-border era roadside view of the town's river valley.
