A Christmas greeting illustration shows one of the Wise Men from the Orient riding a camel and pointing toward the Star of Bethlehem. The printed poem follows the Magi from the Eastern lands, guided by the star, and asks that its radiance gladden the recipient's Christmas night. The sender's Swedish wish, "En fridfull jul önskas Svedberg," fits the Scandinavian communities common in central Minnesota.

One address line below the addressee name was struck through by the writer. Rural route notation 'R.R. Aug Johnson, Box 19' at bottom of address side. Divided back, embossed stock, 1c stamp, light wear.
