Woman in red plumed hat, 'To my Sweetheart,' Amesbury, MA, 1905

Card type
Lithograph

About this postcard

A young woman with curly hair poses in a large red plumed hat, white dress, and pink sash against a dark garden background. The printed line "To my Sweetheart." gives the image its romantic purpose, a sentimental greeting-card style common in the early 1900s. Willbury Burbank mailed it to Amesbury, Massachusetts, for Valentine's Day in 1905.
