Waltham, Mass. July 31, 1909 Your uncle Carter arrived this noon. Had to go nine miles out of his way because a bridge in Concord was being repaired. We are glad you are not ill after your trip. Was afraid you would be tired out as the weather was so warm. I wrote you about this duty letter. Uncle Carter said you spoke about it to him - love to all. A.E. + E.M.T.
