About this postcard
A multi-view souvenir card with three black-and-white vignettes set against a cream ground with an Art Nouveau floral border: a wooded stream scene labeled "Wood Scene," a broad rapids labeled "Cedar Falls," and a tree-lined shore labeled "The Northern," all issued as "Greetings from Minocqua, Wis." Minocqua, in Wisconsin's Oneida County lakeland region, was already a well-established North Woods resort and railroad stop when this card was printed, and such multi-view greetings were sold to summer visitors. The views show the forest, running water and lakeshore scenery that drew tourists to the area.
