Night view of City Hall Park and the Woolworth Building in lower Manhattan. The Woolworth towers on the right, lit against a moon and clouds, while City Hall and the surrounding office buildings are lit below. The park, an 8¼-acre wedge between Park Row and Broadway, sits at the center of the downtown business district. Completed in 1913, the Woolworth Building was for years the world's tallest skyscraper and a symbol of the area's commercial power.
